The Arsenal Island Golf Course closed for the season on 30 September, 2018.  While stepping away from the active management of the course, the U.S. Army is committed to the preservation and enhancement of this historical landmark for future generations.  With historical preservation and overall enhancement of the course and facilities as the top priority, the U.S. Army is actively pursuing a course of action that will allow a private, third party to assume control of the Golf Course as part of an Enhanced Use Lease.  Community patience is appreciated as we go through the process to preserve these services and facilities long into the future.  The Clubhouse will continue to operate until a lease is awarded.
